That time I stole that Batman action figure

Don’t try this at home kids. I don’t wish to sound like I endorse theft or shoplifting. I will admit it was a big part of my teenager life. Whenever I did it, my group of friends switched from bullying me to praising me. With them I always shared those hundreds of bottles of alcohol, cartons and packs of cigarettes, food, drink, and anything else I could make off with.

The graphic novel that inspired me most

There are so many comic books and graphic novels that rocked my world. I remember when the graphic novel first come on the scene. The Death of Captain Marvel was the first one to come out. I noticed a difference in the art work compared to regular comic books. There seemed to be more time spent on it and different techniques used. It was awesome.

Updated – Work in progress – fan art dreams realized

I just thought why wait for this piece of digital vector art to be finished before I share my thoughts behind it. So duh, I’m a huge fan of cool stuff. I’ve been watching cartoons, and reading comic since I was a little kid in the 70s (and I still am). I first came up with this idea to do an ode to the Scooby-Doo Meets Batman cartoons about ten years ago.

To all the toys I loved before…

First revealed in late-2019 at New York Comic Con, a new line of Transformers toys War for Cybertron: Earthrise that most closely resembles their first line of toys in 1984. It corresponds to the new Netflix Original Anime Series by the same name. While I’m not a fan of the writing of this gritty new show, I am stoked for their close adherence to the original look of the original characters.

How to play with the quantum field

So we are always playing with the quantum field. If you’re like me, you had no idea that you were actually creating your reality with your frequency. So I was blindly thinking self sabotaging thoughts randomly without realizing that they introduce specific feelings and in turn set my frequency. Whatever frequency we hold (if we hold it long enough) acts like a magnet.

What do we do when we encounter darkness (lower vibrational frequency)?

There is a paradox being wrestled with right now. Some matters are not so simple for many who have had spiritual awakenings. If your extra sensory perceptions come online, or you consciousness expands certain truths become evident. The world we’ve been residing in is pretty complex. Things get turned upside down. Things we once trusted, we no longer do.

The Kundalini experience and how it changed my life

Hey friends. Today I felt compelled to make a video to talk about what it was like for me to have Kundalini experiences. These experiences were very profound, and I continue to have them all the time. My daily meditation practice has strengthened that ability to be open for it.

A Series that has Inspired Me - Learning from a Master

Years ago I got obsessed with yet another anime series. This one is called One Piece. The manga holds the world record for the most books sold by any one author ever. No one has sold more books (ever) than Eiichiro Oda. Blink, blink. It’s about a kid named Monkey D. Luffy with stretchy rubber powers who is determined to become the king of the pirates.

A Book that has Inspired Me - Stranger in a Strange Land

I think I was nineteen years old when my friend Steve Turner gifted me with this book. After the 6am meeting for sober people we would go to, we met for coffee regularly. It was then that he gave me this book. He said “Al, back in the 60s this was our hippie Bible, and I wanted you to have it.” In Remember Tomorrow the character Elton is modeled after my friend Steve Turner.
